HMCY Website and Service Terms
Welcome to hmcy.org. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms. HMCY services are normally provided to adults aged 18 or over. Any work involving a person under 18 must be expressly agreed in advance and will require appropriate consent and safeguarding arrangements.
Booking a discovery call does not guarantee acceptance as a client or create an obligation for either party to proceed.
2. Changes to Terms
Healing Mind CY may update these terms when services, legal requirements or business practices change. The revised terms will apply from the date shown on this page.
Material changes will not retrospectively alter the terms of an existing paid booking or programme unless required by law or agreed with the client.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the website, forms and booking facilities lawfully and responsibly. You must not attempt to disrupt the website, access information without authorisation or submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or harmful content.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and booking information and for notifying Healing Mind CY if relevant information changes.
4. Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise, the website content, HMCY Method™, written materials, frameworks, recordings, downloads, branding and other resources belong to Healing Mind CY or are used with permission.
Resources provided to clients are for personal use only. They may not be copied, sold, published, redistributed, adapted for commercial use or used to train others without prior written permission.
5. Enquiries, Forms and Submitted Information
Information submitted through contact forms, questionnaires and booking forms will be used to respond to your request, assess suitability, administer services and maintain appropriate records.
Submitting an enquiry permits Healing Mind CY to respond to that specific enquiry. It does not automatically provide consent to receive unrelated marketing. Marketing communications require separate permission and may be withdrawn at any time.
Personal information is handled in accordance with the HMCY Privacy Policy.
6. Website Information and Service Limitations
Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, psychiatric assessment, emergency support or a substitute for treatment from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP Coaching and related personal-change services are personalised according to suitability, goals, circumstances and professional scope. No specific outcome, timeframe or result can be guaranteed.
Healing Mind CY is not an emergency or crisis service.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or any statutory rights available to consumers.
To the extent permitted by law, Healing Mind CY is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of the website or reliance on general website information.
Clients remain responsible for their personal decisions and for seeking appropriate medical, psychological, legal, financial or emergency assistance where required.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
9. Contact Information

10. Entire Agreement
These terms, together with the applicable booking confirmation, programme description, invoice, informed-consent form and any individually agreed written arrangements, form the agreement governing the relevant service.
If programme-specific terms differ from these general terms, the programme-specific terms will apply to that programme where they have been clearly communicated and accepted.
11. Discovery Calls
Discovery calls are complimentary introductory conversations intended to explore the client’s goals, discuss possible services and consider suitability.
A discovery call is not therapy, coaching, diagnosis, treatment or emergency support. Neither the prospective client nor Healing Mind CY is obligated to proceed afterwards.
12. Suitability and Professional Scope
Services begin only after Healing Mind CY and the client have discussed suitability, scope, arrangements and informed consent.
Healing Mind CY may decline, postpone or discontinue work where the requested service falls outside professional competence, where another service may be more appropriate or where safe and effective working arrangements cannot be maintained.
13. Fees and Payment
Fees and payment arrangements will be confirmed before a paid appointment or programme begins. Payment may be requested through an invoice or another agreed payment method.
The applicable invoice will state the amount, currency, payment deadline and service or programme covered. Appointments and programme places may remain provisional until the agreed payment arrangements have been completed.
14. Cancellation and Rescheduling
At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a paid appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be charged at the full appointment fee unless otherwise agreed due to exceptional circumstances.
Complimentary discovery calls may be rescheduled, but repeated missed calls may result in no further discovery appointments being offered
15. Cancellation by Healing Mind CY
If Healing Mind CY must cancel an appointment, the client will be offered a suitable alternative appointment. If an alternative cannot be arranged, any amount paid specifically for the undelivered appointment will be refunded or credited.
16. Late Attendance and Online Sessions
Clients should attend appointments at the agreed time. A late arrival may shorten the available session time where extending the appointment would affect another booking.
For online appointments, clients are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and reasonably private environment. If a technical interruption occurs, both parties will make reasonable efforts to reconnect or rearrange the affected part of the appointment.
17. Programmes, Packages and Bonus Sessions
Programme structure, including appointments, delivery period, payment arrangements and any additional support, will be confirmed before enrolment.
Programme appointments are personal to the client and cannot be transferred to another person. Late cancellations and missed appointments remain subject to the cancellation policy.
Complimentary or bonus sessions have no cash value and are not independently refundable. Any programme completion period or session expiry date will be stated in the programme-specific arrangements.
18. Withdrawal and Refunds
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, programme fees must be paid in full before the programme begins.
Where an instalment arrangement is agreed, the payment amounts and due dates will be shown on the invoice or programme agreement. Failure to make an instalment by its due date may result in future appointments being paused until payment is received.
Healing Mind CY does not normally require a separate programme deposit. Any payment made to reserve or begin a programme forms part of the total programme fee.
A client may withdraw from a programme by notifying Healing Mind CY in writing.
Where programme fees have been paid in advance, any refund for unused sessions will be calculated using the session values stated in the programme agreement or invoice.
Sessions that have already been delivered are not refundable. Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will normally be treated as used sessions and charged in accordance with the cancellation policy.
Personalised preparation, recordings, assessments or resources will only be deducted from a refund where a separate cost was clearly disclosed and agreed before the programme began.
Complimentary or bonus sessions have no cash value and are not independently refundable.
Where a client withdraws while paying by instalments, any amount properly due for sessions already delivered, missed or cancelled late remains payable.
Healing Mind CY may consider an exceptional refund or credit where serious or unforeseen circumstances arise. Any such decision is discretionary and does not create an entitlement in other cases.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights that the client has under applicable consumer law.
19. Online and Distance Contracts
Where a client purchases a service online or at a distance, any mandatory consumer cancellation or withdrawal rights will apply.
If a client requests that a paid service begin during an applicable statutory withdrawal period, additional express consent or acknowledgement may be required. Nothing in these terms removes rights provided by applicable consumer law.
20. Confidentiality and Records
Confidentiality, record keeping, supervision, privacy and their applicable limitations are explained in the HMCY Privacy Policy and Informed Consent and Client Acknowledgement. These documents should be reviewed before paid services begin.
21. Ending Services
A client may choose to stop working with Healing Mind CY at any time, subject to the applicable payment, cancellation and programme terms.
Healing Mind CY may end or pause services where continuing would be unsafe, inappropriate, outside professional competence or inconsistent with agreed professional boundaries. Where appropriate, alternative support may be recommended.
22. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
