HMCY is a complementary practice. It does not replace medical care, psychiatric assessment, prescribed medication, emergency services or treatment requiring a regulated healthcare professional.
HMCY does not advise clients to stop, reduce, increase or otherwise change prescribed medication.
Before paid work begins, Charles conducts a suitability assessment. Where medical or specialist support is more appropriate, this is discussed clearly.
Where a client is already under medical care and coordinated communication would be useful, Charles can liaise with the treating clinician with the client’s informed written consent.
